During her visit to Guatemala, Fátima Bosch, Miss Universe 2025, came to the Margarita Tejada Foundation to see our work firsthand and spend time with individuals with Down syndrome.
During the tour, Fátima learned about the activities our students engage in, visited various areas of the Foundation, and gained insight into their daily lives. Amidst conversations, smiles, and games, she shared very special moments with them and saw firsthand the work we do to provide opportunities for development, learning, and inclusion.
One of the most special moments of her visit was when she took part in a recreational activity with the students, sharing in the games, smiles, and abundant joy. Beyond simply seeing our facilities, Fátima took the time to connect, listen, and enjoy the moment with them, making her visit a personal and meaningful experience.
Fátima’s visit left us with memories filled with warmth and joy, and gave us the chance to share time with a woman who, through her platform, also seeks to spread messages of empathy, inclusion, and solidarity.
