Down syndrome is the most common genetic disorder, which typically endows individuals with certain expected physical, medical, and learning characteristics. However, recent studies show that the prevalence of an associated disorder or dual diagnosis in people with Down syndrome can be higher, necessitating more individualized and specific support tailored to the person’s needs.
Our Therapy program provides families and individuals with Down syndrome with the tools to develop adaptive skills that respond to their individual needs and developmental characteristics. It also provides support and guidance so that, together with the family, they can plan, design, and implement a life plan for the person with Down syndrome. To promote the comprehensive development, autonomy and social, educational and labor inclusion of these people.
To provide development opportunities from the first year of life to adulthood in various areas.
To train and empower the family for the design, implementation and monitoring of the person’s Life Plan.
To provide educational and/or therapeutic support on an individual and/or group basis.
